Me – Kassie Strecker
I started down the path of computer graphics in the fall of 2015 when I enrolled in the Graphic Design program at Meridian Technology Center. Within the first month of classes, I just fell in love with it and began to consider graphics as something I’d like to specialize in. I graduated from Meridian on May 23, 2017 with straight A’s and a desire to use my talent in the area of church graphics.
I have a great many passions beside graphic design, including music. I started playing the violin in 2009 and I picked up my first violin student in 2014. In addition to the violin, I also play the 4-string banjo and the mandolin (these instruments all share the same tuning, which I find extremely convenient). If I’m not working on the computer or playing an instrument, you might find me sewing in my bedroom, curled up reading a book, playing a card game with one or more of my four siblings, or in the kitchen baking something unhealthy (but delicious).
I’ve grown up in a Christian home and I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior at the age of 5. I’ve attended Bible Baptist Church in Stillwater OK since before I could walk and I absolutely love it. I’m involved with the First Claim youth group, the bus ministry (go Bus 2!!!), the nursing home ministry, the orchestra and just about everything else I can possibly fit into my schedule. This fall I will be majoring in Music at Heartland Baptist Bible College.
